August 23 Late Registration/add/drop
August 24 Classes Begin
August 31 Last day to register or add a course
August 31 Last day to drop a course without a grade of "W"

September 16 National Celebration of "Constitution Day"
September 17 "Constitution Day"
October 12 Midterm grade submissions for 100-200 level courses (due 12:00 Midnight)
October 27-28 Mid-Semester Break (classes dismissed)
November 2 Last day to drop a course with a grade of "W"
November 2 Last day to drop a course on-line. Drops after this date need to be processed in the student's college office
November 2 Last day to post DO grades (due 24:00 Midnight)
November 23 Classes dismissed (UA open - normal business hours)
November 24-25 Holiday - Thanksgiving
November 28 Classes resume at 7:00 AM
December 2 Last day for all tests, etc
December 9 Last day to withdraw from the University without having
to petition to the student's college office [Except Nursing & Law]
December 9 Classes end
December 12-16 Final examinations
December 17 Commencement
