Current Final Exam Schedules

  • Effective 7/21/15 all final exam schedules can now be found on our new Academic Calendar. Select the appropriate semester and/or part of term and then click on the Final Exams button to show only the final exam schedule for that term.

How to Read the Schedule

  • The date and time of the final examination is determined by the meeting pattern of the course in question.  For example, a class that meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. would have a final exam scheduled in the time slot that reads: “Classes which first meet TR between 12:00 – 1:50 p.m.”

Petitioning to Reschedule a Final Exam

  • Students may petition to reschedule exams if the following circumstances occur:
    • A student has 3 or more exams scheduled on the same day.
    • A student has 2 exams scheduled at the same time.
  • Students wishing to reschedule final exams due to one of the reasons above must submit to their professor(s) documentation of their schedule.  Students should consult with their college student services office and/or Dean’s office if they have any difficulty rescheduling exams due to one of the scenarios outlined above.

Rescheduling Priority

  1. Exams for lower level classes have priority. For example, a 100-level course has higher priority than a 200-level course. The student should petition the 200-level course instructor for rescheduling.
  2. Exams for individual courses have higher priority than departmental exams regardless of level. The student with a conflict should petition the instructor of the course with the departmental exam for rescheduling.
  3. For 7:00-9:30 PM exam conflicts, the daytime course has higher priority than the 6:00 PM or later course. The student should petition the instructor of the evening course for rescheduling.
  4. For all instances not covered by the tiebreakers above, the exam scheduled at the earliest time takes priority.
